I, for one, am glad because it's less beady and more toasty.. Finely chopped onions and jalapenos make for smooth burn and even distribution...a detail often overlooked ”

“ Cardinal is one of very few real bars left around Raleigh. First things first, staff is amazing. Always friendly, sarcastic, but professional. The dogs are 3.75! Chili or slaw is 0.50! That’s a real deal. Authentic and delicious. Tell them you want a weenie for your pups! They’ll make one for them, too. My aussies and I love coming here. In talking to the staff, the owner throws them a solid EOY party and even closes next day to let them recover. You don’t see that these days. Please support one of the real, real businesses that loves you, your pupper, and your love for authentic bars. ”
